Summary:
The Wen Clan ditch and run, blocking the exit to the cave. Lan Wangji deduces that there must be another way out from the fresh maple leaves in the pool, and Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng find the underwater entrance. Wei Wuxian holds the Tortoise of Slaughter off while everyone escapes, but he's "accidentally" shot in the arm by a Lan Clan member. The Lan member isn't named, but I'd like to think it's Su She or one of his relatives. Lan Wangji stays behind with Wei Wuxian while everyone else escapes... right into the Wen Clan trap. Jiang Cheng is the only one able to escape and head for assistance. In the cave, Wei Wuxian treats Lan Wangji's wounds and they battle the Tortoise again. Wei Wuxian finds a funky looking sword that does a lot of damage and Lan Wangji beheads the Tortoise. Wei Wuxian sinks slowly to the bottom of the pond.
