Summary:
Lan Wangji drags Wei Wuxian out of the water and plays him to sleep. When he wakes up, he's back at Lotus Cove - Jiang Cheng's rescue finally came through. Lan Wangji returned to Cloud Recesses to find his dad dead and his brother still in hiding with the Lan Clan books. Jiang Fengmian and Madam Yu have an arguement over Wei Wuxian, and Fengmian leaves. Wang Lingjiao, on Wen Chao's orders, takes a Jiang Clan member hostage for shooting a kite and asks Madam Yu to punish Wei Wuian for the Tortoise of Slaughter caves, which she more than happily does. Lingjiao mentions that Lotus Cove will make a great office for the Wen Clan, and Madam Yu turns her fury on Wang Lingjiao.
