Summary:
In the flashback, Xiao Xingchen nurses Xue Yang back to health, much to the dismay of A-Qing. Xue Yang takes him hunting live dead people. Several years later, Song Lan comes to Yi City and attacks Xue Yang. Xue Yang chops out his tongue and Xiao Xingchen mistakenly kills Song Lan, assuming he's a corpse. Xue Yang gleefully tells Xiao Xingchen about this and XingChen takes his own life, much to Xue Yang's dismay.In the current timeline, Xue Yang attacks Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian, who manage to chop off his arm and kill him, thanks to the help of A-Qing. A mysterious stranger teleports Xue Yang - and the Stygian Tiger Amulet that he has - away from Yi City. Zombie Zong Lan accepts the spiritual bags of Xiao Xingchen and A-Qing and burns Yi City to the ground.
