Summary:
Wen Ruohan takes the archery defeat badly and demands all major clans send their key players over for Wen Indoctrination. He sends his oldest son to burn Cloud Recesses; Lan Wangji's is badly injured trying to protect the library from flames. At the Wen Indoctrination, led by Wen Chao and his busty, cruel mistress Wang Lingjiao, everyone is forced to turn in their swords or have Wen Zhuliu crush their golden cores. They go on a night hunt, where Wen Chao makes a move on Luo Qingyan (MianMian) and Wang Lingjiao gets jealous. Goaded into it by LingJiao, Wen Chao tries to sacrifice MianMain to lure out the monster, but Lan Wangji and Jin Zichen block him. A fight ensues, which wakes up the Tortoise of Slaughter. LingJiao attempts to brand MianMian in the chaos, but WuXian jumps in front of the brand.
