Summary:
Wei Wuxian ditches out on Lan Wangji and the boys and heads to the forest. He runs into young upstart, Jin Ling and promptly insults his mom. Bad idea, since it gets his uncle, Jiang Cheng riled up against him too. Lan Wangji and the boys head over to defend Wei Wuxian and mention that the ferocious arm got away and is somewhere in the woods. Jin Ling stomps off and finds the arm attached to a Dancing Statue. The Statue fights ferociously and Wei Wuxian is forced to call in Wen Ning, the Undead General, to subdue it. Jiang Cheng recognizes Wei Wuxian as the Yiling Patriarch (and his martial brother) and Lan Wangji protects him and takes him back to Cloud Recesses.
