GOT7 - Stop Stop It
갓세븐 - 하지하지마
About:
Plot:
- Schoolboy JB threatens to jump off a ledge if Dahyun won't go out with him. She's listening to her headphones and doesn't hear most of what he's saying. She leaves and alternate world JB comes onto the roof, startling current day JB into falling. On his suicidal plunge, he ends up either in the future (flying cars) or in hell (strange hair and some very bad dropped overalls). He runs into Jackson, who acts as a perfect wingman to helping him win over future Dahyun, who seems sweet and charming. The rest of GOT7 hang out with more Twice members, but their dating game leaves a lot to be desired - Jinyoung flat-out ignores Momo and Yugyeom dances with, but later ditches Chaeyeong, Momo and Somi to sing. Up your girl game, GOT7! JB returns to current times, roles reversed from the opening, and manages to avoid plunging to his death.
Notes:
- I'm conflicted here. The song is at least a 4, maybe a 5 for me, but the video is so awful (solid 2) that I'm knocking it down to a 3 overall.
- That said, I love the idea of setting it in the future. Super-catchy dance too. And Twice is always a joy to see in the early GOT7 videos
- Notice BamBam's cool, but highly impractical glow-in-the-dark skateboard
- First appearance of Mark's excellent sneer (perfected in If You Do) & JYP's own branded Monster Diamond Tears headphones
- GOT7 have often talked about their dislike of "Stop, Stop It"
- Trivia: Jungkook will sing this song to Jimin on Run BTS 10
- MVP: JB for that super-hooky autotuned chorus ("hajima haji haji haji hajima")
