BTS - Fake Love
About:
Plot:
- Each of the BTS lads are trapped in their own private hell: Jin tries to protect a fragile flower while the room explodes around him, Jungkook spies on various members and tries to escape a collapsing floor, RM confronts his nerdier self in a mirror, J-Hope locks himself in a child's room and drowns in Snickers, Jimin stands stock still while torrential waters rage around him, V keeps checking his phone, which crumbles to dust, while hundreds of other phones light up & Suga watches in amusement as he immolates. This all might be the work of the weird cloaked figure in the coatroom, who is either trading goods with BTS or luring them all to their death.
Notes:
- Either a cautionary tale about changing yourself too much for a lover, or a gentle admonition of the unrealistic expectations of fans ("I'm so sorry, but it's fake love")
- Ninth video in BU storyline. For additional plot, check out the first teaser and the extended version
- Suga is wearing a controversial shirt (Bond's Hungover Bite Me) underneath his colorful jacket
- V is standing under the inverted slogan save me (right-side up) and am fine (upside down)
- "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" found in sculpture and dance moves
- Hotel Del Luna mentions the song (briefly) in episode 11
- MVP: J-Hope, for the room full of Snickers and his slick, sexy dance moves
