Summary:
A dying Jin Guangyao tells Lan Xichen that he never moved
Jin Guangyao realizes that it was Nie Huaisang who set him up ("I didn't realize you'd be my downfall")
Jin Guangyao stabs the blade in deeper (literally and figuratively) and mentions that he would never harm Lan Xichen. In fact, he helped hide Lan Xichen after Cloud Recesses burned down and helped him rebuild it later
Jin Guangyao uses the blood from his wound to cancel out the spell on Nie Mingjue's coffin
Everyone flees the collapsing temple. Jin Guangyao pushes Lan Xichen away from him and goes to face his death
Afterwards, Lan Xichen mentions to Nie Huaisang that he never knew Jin Guangyao. Nie Huaisang mentions that no one can really know one another
Lan Xichen asks if Nie Huaisang lied to him and he avoids the answer ("I don't know")
Wei Wuxian's final scar from Mo Xuangyu fades away with Jin Guangyao's death
Fairy and the rest of the Juniors and clans arrive. Ouyang Zizhen checks on Wei Wuxian. Lan Qiren rejects Lan Wangji.
Nie Huaisang picks up Jin Guangyao's dusty hat - flasback to Yao's mom telling him the importance of keeping his hat clean. Nie cleans it and notices blood on his hands.
Jin Ling returns to Wei Wuxian, Lan Wangji and Wen Ning long gone
Jiang Cheng takes Jin Ling home and thinks back to when he distracted the Wen guards from Wei Wuxian
Lan Shizui and Wen Ning catch up to Wei Wuxian. Lan Shizui tells him about being A-Yuan and Lan Wangji confirms.
Lan Shizui and Wei Wuxian hug and bicker and Lan Shizui grabs Wei Wuxian's leg
Wen Ning and Yuan returning to Qishan to restore the Wen graves
Wei Wuxian and Apple turn to leave, but Lan Wangji doesn't follow them
Later, they meet up in Cloud Recesses near the waterfall. Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian are both wearing different robes, so time has passed
Lan Wangji has taken over the role of Excellency
Nie Huaisang meets up with them at the rules gate. Wei Wuxian reminds him of the rule: Thou shall not befriend the devil
Nie Huaisang bows to Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian asks if he wanted to be Excellency instead. Nie Huaisang mentions that he doesn't get involved in things that he doesn't need to and departs
Lan Wangji asks why Wei Wuxian didn't ask him: Who let Mo Xuanyu out? Who released the Blade Spirit? Who found Sisi and Bocao? Who wrote the anonymous letter? Wei Wuxian mentioned that the answers don't matter anymore.
High on a mountaintop, they part ways a second time. Wei Wuxian mentions they'll meet again. Lan Wangji pauses on the descent, hearing the sound of a flute playing their song, then continues
Wei Wuxian in completely new robes plays his flute. Time has passed He hears Lan Wangji's voice behind him, turns and breaks into a grin.
