Summary:
Jiang Cheng traps Wei Wuxian while Jin Ling thinks of a way to save him. Fortunately the Ghost General appears and rescues Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian apologizes to Jin Ling and thinks back to his childhood with Jiang Cheng and Yanli. He then turns to the Ghost General, and flashes back to how Wen Ning got to that state: Wei Wuxian saw the Wen Clan being overworked and killed and rescued them, much to the dismay of the Jin and Lan clans. Lan Wangji tried to stop Wei Wuxian, to no avail. Wei Wuxian takes the remainder of the Wen Clan to the Burial Mounds. Jiang Cheng shows up, argues with Wei Wuxian and leaves.
