Summary:
Season 2 begins! Everyone battles Wen Ruohan, who manages to injure Nie Mingjue and stall both Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian (who is using the Stygian Tiger Amulet) before Jin Guangyao sneaks up behind him and stab him in the back.In current time, Lan Xichen meets with Jin Guangyao, the leader of all the clans, to discuss his watchtower project and the severed arm that Lan Wangji brought back. They mention missing their third partner, Nie Mingjue, who died.
Wei Wuxian is busy getting plastered off of Lan Wangji's liquor and attempts to flee Cloud Recesses with Apple. He tries to steal Wangji's jade token, but is caught by the bathing Lan Wangji. Wuxian notices the scars and branding on Lan Wangji's body. Just as he's about to mention it, the Juniors run up and mention that the severed arm has gone berzerk. Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji are able to subdue it and follow the direction it's pointing, to a ghost town in the distance.
