Petty, cruel youngest son of Wen Ruohan. He's married (we never see his wife), but is cheating on her with her handmaiden, JiaoJiao. Thoroughly nasty piece of work. He's taken an instant dislike to Wei Wuxian, but he has a bit of a problem with follow-through on his cruelty. That shall be his undoing. Interesting note: Wen Qing and Chao have the same level of power in the Wen Clan, in spite of the fact that Chao is the son of the leader.
